MILAN/PARIS FW: FASHION NEVER ENDS
Once again, I leave behind another full of new experiences FW month.
Milan, as always, does not disappoint. Its streets inspire fashion and trend by itself and, when they dress up, magic unleashes. Some of the shows I attended were Max Mara, Alberta Ferreti, Prada… All day going from here to there, looking at my watch but, on the other hand, wearing wonderful looks from my favorite brands (one of the things I like the most this month of madness).
Although I love traveling, being out of NY for so long can be very exhausting. At the end of each day, I would love to be able to get into my bed or sit on my couch. This time in Milan, I truly felt at home one more season thanks to the perfect house we found at HomeAway. We came back there for a second year, without any hesitation.
Paris never disappoints. One of the looks I liked most was this one by Elie Saab. A wonderful dress with feathers and sequins that, combined with ankle boots and sunglasses, is perfect for a morning event.
There is always time for shootings between show and show and, if all of them are as fun as Stella McCartney was, it is a pleasure to work.
One of the most exciting moments of PFW was the take over that I did for Maison Valentino Instagram account, to show you all the details of its amazing show. In addition, I had the opportunity to meet Pierpaolo Piccioli, Valentino’s creative director, during the presentation party of the limited edition Rockstud Spike bag collection.
I couldn’t imagine a better ending for this FW than Louis Vuitton Show, which took place in one of the most amazing locations in Paris: The Louvre Museum. A very special place combined with a very special look: Oversize plaid coat, lace top, jeans and THE BAG. A grand finale for this month.
