LV ss16 + Fondation Louis Vuitton
It’s barely been a few weeks since fashion month it’s over. But the best is always kept for the very end. And like every season, Louis Vuitton made us all wait for the magnificent moment to showcase their latest collection. Spring /summer wasn’t gonna follow the normal patterns, instead a futuristic touch by Nicholas Ghesquiere was very much all over the designs making it a fun and enjoyable show, with a great set up in possibly the coolest place it could ever be. Foundation Louis Vuitton, is just not another Frank Gehry’s building. Indeed its a sustainable building made to showcase contemporary art specially curated for each one of its rooms. After the show, we were lucky enough to get a private tour through the installations and even that it wasn’t my first time there, it was the very first time i could get to understand how everything worked and how incredible it is. A walk though art and technology an a great architecture masterpiece. For sure one of those places you should now add to your tour guide when visiting Paris. the truth is, I cannot wait to be back next season, not just to see what Nicholas will surprises us with but to also be able to go back for another wonder. For the show I wore bag and shoes by Louis Vuitton with Sandro jeans and Iro leather jacket.
