Ron Arad + Kenzo

The beautiful part of this job is that I get to meet from top fashionistas and editors to big names in the world of art and architecture like Ron Arad, an incredible human being that has amazed most of us by creating and designing beautiful places and pieces. When Kenzo cancelled the trip we had scheduled for Tel Aviv, I was pretty gutted ,but it all disappeared when they asked me to join Mr. Arad at his studio in Camden. Warm, full of and organised mess, it was were everything was taking place. We talked about his recent collaboration with Kenzo, where he was in charged to design the bottle that keeps the secret of the newest and delicious scent, Madly. We also shared our mutual love for Devendra Banhart (Ron's doughter got to sing on stage with him at a Longon gig and Devendra is also responsible for Madly's tv spot music advert). Wearing Asos suit-trousers, TopShop jumper, Loewe amazona bag and Marc Jacobs pumps I headed to the Kenzo's Mayfaire store, a gorgeous shop where I lost track of time while jumping in and out of clothes. I cannot wait to share all the items I took back home with me! 

La parte mas bonita de este trabajo es que aparte de poder conocer top fashionistas o a las editoras mas importantes, he podido tambien llegar a conocer a grandes del mundo del arte y de la arquitectura como Ron Arad. La invitacion al estudio de Ron, situado en en el barrio Londinense de Camden vino justo despues de que Kenzo cancelase nuestro viaje a Tel Aviv. Pero mejor todavia! Pude conocer a un personaje increible. Charlamos de su colaboracion con Kenzo, donde mr. Arad fue encargado de diseñar el bote que contiene el ultimo perfume de la casa francesa, Madly. Tambien compartimos nuestra pasion por Devendra Banhart, el cual puso la musica para el anuncio de Madly pero con el que la hija de Ron tuvo el placer de cantar a duo en un concierto que ofrecio hace unos años en Londres. Despues nos dirigimos a la boutique de Kenzo en Mayfaire donde pude disfrutar de una tarde de compras con las nuevas piezas de la maravillosa coleccion. Para la ocasion lleve pantalones de Asos, jersey oversize TopShop, zapatos Marc Jacobs y bolso Loewe-amazona.
